The Company
Founded in New York in 2001 and now based between Geneva and international stages, Dangerous Ground Productions creates immersive “live-cinema” works that fuse theatre, film, and performance into destabilizing, site-specific experiences.
Led by director Doris Mirescu, the company transforms buildings and urban spaces into sensorial laboratories where real-time camera work, text, choreography, and architecture intersect. Drawing on radical cinematic and downtown experimental traditions, its productions explore gaze, desire, memory, and the hidden narratives of place.
Committed to feminist, collaborative, and transdisciplinary practices, Dangerous Ground places audiences inside evolving fields of images and bodies—revealing what spaces remember, conceal, and demand to be seen.
